EmpireFlow's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What Google data EmpireFlow accesses
calendar
Read your Google Calendar events. Used solely to display your upcoming events inside the EmpireFlow planner view so you can see your schedule alongside your tasks and wellness data.
calendar.events
Create and edit calendar events. Used solely to allow you to create or update events directly from EmpireFlow without leaving the app.
tasks
Read, create, and edit your Google Tasks. Used solely to sync your task list between EmpireFlow and Google Tasks so your to-dos stay consistent across both platforms.
userinfo.email
Your Google email address. Used solely to identify your account during sign-in. Never stored beyond what is necessary for authentication.
userinfo.profile
Your basic profile information (name, profile photo). Used solely to personalise your EmpireFlow account display. Never shared or used for any other purpose.

How we use this data
Displayed directly to you inside the app
Your Google Calendar events and Tasks are shown only within your own EmpireFlow account. No other user ever sees your data.
Used only to provide the features you requested
Google data is used exclusively to power the calendar and task features you explicitly connected. It is not used for any other purpose within the app.
Stored securely and only for as long as necessary
Access tokens are stored securely and used only to fulfil live requests. When you disconnect Google from EmpireFlow, your tokens are revoked and deleted immediately.

What we never do with your Google data

We never use Google user data to train, improve, or develop any AI or machine learning model — including EmpireFlow's own AI features.

We never transfer Google user data to OpenAI or any other AI service provider. EmpireFlow's AI features (Daily Cosmic Compass, meal scanning, etc.) are powered by anonymised, non-Google data only.

We never sell Google user data to third parties under any circumstances.

We never use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, or any marketing purpose.

We never share Google user data with analytics providers, data brokers, or any third party not directly required to operate the features you have authorised.

We never read, store, or process Google data beyond the minimum necessary to deliver the specific feature you have enabled.

Google Sign-In vs Google Calendar — how they are kept separate
Sign-In (userinfo.email, userinfo.profile, openid)
Used only to authenticate your identity when you choose to sign in with Google. The email address and profile name are stored only to identify your EmpireFlow account. This data is never passed to any AI service or used for any purpose beyond account identification.
Calendar & Tasks (calendar, calendar.events, tasks)
Used only when you explicitly connect Google Calendar through the Integrations section of the app. These scopes are separate from Sign-In and are only requested after you choose to enable the integration. Calendar and Tasks data is used solely to display and sync your schedule within EmpireFlow.

EmpireFlow fully complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy including all Limited Use restrictions. Our use of Google API data is limited to providing or improving user-facing features that are visible and prominent in EmpireFlow's user interface.
